STRENGTHS:

 

·      Ancillary materials that are provided with the program are of high quality and add dimension.

 

·      Content is comprehensive.

 

·      Musical selections are appropriate and representative of many cultures.

 

 

 

CONCERNS:

 

·      While the selection of songs is good, the quantity of songs is somewhat limited.

 

·      Organization of materials does not promote ease of use.

 

·      Materials are not particularly visually stimulating.

 

 

 

OVERALL IMPRESSION:

 

“Share the Music” is a fine, comprehensive music curriculum which covers all the needs of a K-8 music program.  It correlates well with the Diocesan music curriculum framework and more than adequately meets the needs of the general music teacher.
